Extra Serving - Poem

The poem you are about to read is based on an expression:
"The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little bit extra!"
But first... an introduction.

There are so many talented people around the world. There are those that are musical, those that are business-minded. Those that lecture and inspire, whilst others inspire and motivate us through the art of story... so many people, so many talents. So many who share the same talent. But each one does what they do in their own way. Each one, enlightens the world around him differently. Each talented individual knows what he does... and does it the right way.

While it is not often that my poems are written with the narrative of "Happy-go-lucky", as I usually find inspiration in nature, emotion, and other new creative concepts, this one is just that. While also, it is certainly true, some of my poems are emotional, while others are more vibrant and happy, this is one that is bubbling with a sense of comedy, yet giving over an important message.

A message about how everyone is talented. No matter how long and hard you will have to look in order to find your talent... hide and seek...does not last forever.

I hope you enjoy this poem. I hope it makes you smile. (Trust me, I smiled while writing it.)

Extra Serving - Poem
People all have talent
That, is something I think you’re all aware of
Yet, some have not found their talents
And they have looked everywhere.

Well, my friend, here me out
I got to something I wish to say
You must believe in yourself, keep looking
Cause your talent will be found one day

Your talent may run and hide
But hide and seek ends with being found
When talent is yours, use it
One small deed can change the world, shake the ground

You’re an ordinary person
Who has an extraordinary talent,
Don’t be afraid to show it
You have the opportunity, it is fresh and ready
Don’t drop the delicate chance, don’t blow it

One more thing I got
That I wish to say to ya’
I bet you didn't know
That the difference between ordinary and extraordinary
Is, oh just a little bit extra
