Hi there!

My name is Yitzy Schweitzer. I am a young writer and graphic designer based locally in London, UK.

I have been writing since I was young, but only embraced it as a passion and something I could fully connect to, as a teenager in 2019, during which time I wrote and printed (not published) a book of ten personal essays. Since than, my writings have transformed and shifted from creating essays, to composing poetry, as the art of the rhyming and rhythmic word found a place inside my heart, soul and mind.

I have been writing poems since early 2021 and launched this blog in June of that year. On the blog, I have written and shared many posts, predominantly my poems, but have also shared some essays and inspirational stories.

My rule is: If the piece I want to share does not connect with me, don't share it. But I am proud and thankful to say that for the last three and a half years, over 250 posts in general and 200 poems in particular have connected with me in some special way.

Now, I also mentioned I am a graphic designer. So that means the following: Besides for managing this blog (my writing portfolio, if you will), I also have a graphic design portfolio site, which the link for can be found at the end of this page.

But, there is more. I recently launched a new project: Echoes of the Soul, a website upon which I share Jewish Music/Jewish Song Lyric Video Presentations which are produced and designed entirely by me and shared under the "Echoes of the Soul" name. The link for that site can also be found at the end of this page.
