Treasure Map - Poem
Imagine, as a kid, you were at your friends birthday party and for one of the fun activities of the day, you were given a treasure map and tasked with searching for different clues spread all over the house in order to find the big prize. This game is still a classic today at many summer and winter camps as well as birthday parties and I believe the reason for that is because of the concept of finding a "treasure". Allow me to explain.
A treasure is normally something special, something magical and exciting that one must work hard to find as it is hidden in a certain place. Children love the excitement that comes with finding the different clues to the hiding place and they also really get excited and overly energetic once the treasure is found and opened.
I think we could connect this simple yet awesome game to each and every one of our lives. You see, G-d has given us a special and magical treasure map called the Torah, which we use throughout our lives to get closer to the ultimate treasure of the Geula. This game has been played for so may years, each year, getting closer and closer to the goal.
We just need to keep searching for the last few clues.
As soon as we find that last clue, the time for redemption would have arrived
The treasure would have been found.
I hope you enjoy this cute and simple poem I thought up about the "Treasure Map" concept. I hope it inspires you keep searching for your own ways to bring the ultimate treasure just a little closer

I have been tasked with a mission
To go out and find a special treasure
Gathering my supplies, getting myself ready
I am prepared for success, and nothing else would be better
I am out in the world
Searching for clues
I won't give up, give in or back down
I will on looking, throughout the pouring rain and sunshine blue
Many days have gone by
And now I think I've found it
I have followed my treasure map, located the clues
This is the jackpot and now I have hit it!
But the reason why I succeeded
Is because I believed in the path I traveled
I believed in G-d, the one who gave me this map
I broke the code of clues, their secrets unraveled
In life we look for treasure,
Our master gives us everything
From survival rations, to the talents, map clues
And all we have to do
Is try our best,
To be the best,
And do our best
To believe in ourselves
And believe in you
