From The Mouth of a Child - Psalms Chapter 8 - Tehillim Poetry
Throughout our history, time and again King David's words of "מִפִּ֤י עוֹלְלִ֨ים ׀ וְֽיֹנְקִים֮ יִסַּ֢דְתָּ֫ עֹ֥ז לְמַ֥עַן צוֹרְרֶ֑יךָ לְהַשְׁבִּ֥ית א֝וֹיֵ֗ב וּמִתְנַקֵּֽם"׃, which are found in the eighth perek of Tehillim and translate to "Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings You have established strength because of Your adversaries, in order to put an end to enemy and avenger.", have proven to be undeniably true. Not "true" in the same way that a fact is true but, "true" in such a way that the results of one child's prayer can be so great, so incredible, that it is only to be described as supernatural. The type of results that go beyond our understanding of the world. Results that only Hashem himself can pull off.
Results that leave the rest of the world standing still and scratching its head in wander and awe as they try to understand our secret.
They don't know it.
But we do.
Children have got such an incredible power of prayer, for in their sincerity, innocence and love for that which is true, they turn to their Father in Heaven in times of gratitude or hardship and pour out their full being in expressing themselves openly and honestly, knowing that their Tatte is listening to them, he is their Father, he loves them so and wants to hear their voices call out to him.
Oh does He long to hear their voices.
That verse in Tehilim chapter eight inspired the poem which you will read below. I hope you will enjoy it.

From The Mouth of a Child - Psalms Chapter 8 - Tehillim Poetry
A child stands alone,
His eyes fixed on heaven, his heart full of hope and belief,
The waves of terror are coming, for they wish to drown him,
Yet he stands upright in prayer, for he knows G-d will provide him relief.
A child sings alone,
A youthful voice, piercing the soul,
He sings the tune of prayer,
Because he believes G-d will fill in, singing for him, replacing any missing notes.
A child dances alone,
Celebrating victory with innocence and passion,
He dances for that is his way of praying,
For just one more little bit of compassion.
A child cries alone,
A small tear rolls down his cheek,
For he knows, prayer will make him strong when he is weak.
Out of the mouths of the young,
In their prayers, songs, dances and tears lie a unique power,
It is the ultimate key to driving away our enemies,
It is the key to unlock the benefits, for all of the blessings just waiting to be ours.
