Soul Freedom - Subscriber Poetry Inspiration 2023-24 Poem 8

 In a recent discussion with a very dear subscriber, I asked for some inspiration to create a new "Subscriber Poem". After a few minutes, we settled on me creating a piece about freedom. It was on a Shabbos, in the late afternoon hours and obviously I could not get to write any lines or conceptual notes down, but I did come up with a simple poem on the spur of the moment, which I found quite humorous.

Now, I am not sharing that exact poem for two reasons. First one being, I don't remember it and second one being, I could not write it down. However I came up shortly after that little anecdote occurred, with a simple yet elegant concept, that being, the title.

So, I hereby present to with the poem I wrote about "Soul Freedom." I hope you enjoy it.

Soul Freedom - Subscriber Poetry Inspiration 2023-24 Poem 8

Among the seas and sands,

We walked, healed and together,

A nation of G-d, of elevated souls,

Free from service to the people of terror.

Miracles of cloud and fire,

Paved our way towards our future,

A future of living in peace and joy,

With heavens protection from haters and intruder.

Still so many years later,

We are hated, hunted and dispersed,

But our freedom is in our prayer, for its with G-d we are free,

We are one G-dly nation, in His universe.

You could call us, a UNI-NATION,

For we our one, United, and a deeply loving people,

We aim to return to one land, our home,

A dream we wait to see become true and reel.

As we strive to unite our souls,

Every day one act of kindness will bring us there,

Our land is within sight, we know our return is imminent,

So wake up my friend, come see, we are nearly here
