Walk With Me - Poem

 We all want to feel G-ds presence in our lives. Whether that is when we learn, pray or just go about our day, something about knowing, believing and internalizing the message that G-d is with you wherever you are, whenever you need him, for whatever you may want to ask of him, is so reassuring and wonderful to realize, but even more so, understand.

The following poem is about understanding G-d is with you and reaching out to him, asking him to just simply guide you through life, with his unparalleled love and kindness, to walk you through lifes obstacles and rough valleys, with patience and care and perhaps the most simplest request of all...

Just to be there.

Keep being there.

As a quick side note: I wish to dedicate this poem to my grandmother, whose 80th birthday was this past week. I want to extend my sincerest, warmest wishes to her, as I pray that G-d continues to walk with her, with grace and love, just as he has always done.

Walk With Me - Poem

At the crossroads, a decision to make,
But I don’t know where to turn,
Do I traverse right, or maybe walk left,
All the choice needs is closure.

But my mind races around,
Indecision drowns me out,
So, I look up skyward, calling your name,
Please won’t you walk with me,
Once again.

Lead me, guide me, walk with me,
Until the end, wherever it may be,
Hold me close, show me, help me,
Fight my battles, defeat the enemy.
Oh, G-d, walk with me, please,
Oh, G-d, keep my mind at ease,
Allow me to walk with you,
As you lead and I humbly follow.

Life comes with storms, with sunshine to,
Unpredictable, you may say,
But I know its coming from way up above,
Face it, I will come what may.

But when things come crashing down,
All the weights fall all around,
I will call out your name once again,
Please, won’t you walk with me,
Hashem.

Lead me, guide me, walk with me,
Until the end, wherever it may be,
Hold me close, show me, help me,
Fight my battles, defeat the enemy.
Oh, G-d, walk with me, please,
Oh, G-d, keep my mind at ease,

Praised is G-d, who leads me right,
His goodness, for that, I shall sing,
When the rains pour, cometh the storms,

He has shown me that he cares,
