Torah, The Eternal - Poem

I write this introduction on the way back home from the Dirshu event, which was held in London on Sunday, December 15. It was a truly beautiful and unique experience, celebrating Kevod and Limud HaTorah on a scale I have never seen before.

I was inspired during the event to try and compose a poem about the beauty and true majesty of Torah. The next day, I was finally able to to sit down and write something. Here is the finished piece.

I tried my best and so hope that what I have written is good enough for you to enjoy.

Torah, The Eternal - Poem

There is a warmth within its majesty,

A glow within its beauty,

A wonder upon its words,

A comfort within its pages.

There is life, bursts of energy,

There is greatness, waves of tranquility,

There is an endless ocean, soft flowings of knowledge,

There is the all eternal, a heavenly path of forever.

The Torah is everything, it's life, on a higher realm of understanding,

The Torah is G-ds message, heard and recognized by you and me,

The Torah is a flickering candle, near a window, offering hope,

The Torah is always here, there anywhere, to take you home.

Delve in, again and again,

For the answers, are found within,

The path to eternity, is through that which is eternal.

The journey to greatness is to only be taken, when the ultimate greatness is beside you.
