Silence VS Sound - Poem
The art of audio is something which I find incredibly inspiring. Whether editing in a film, the sweet notes of an instrument, or the emotion in a singers voice, I find so much peace and joy finding and feeling the soul behind audio.
Recently, my teacher gave me a suggestion for a poem. Describe the differences between sound and silence. How do those two opposing factors find their common ground, their harmony? (pun-intended), a way to leave their differences behind?
Written here is the poem "Silence VS Sound". Enjoy!
Silence VS Sound - Poem
A vocal, the voice
Buzz of chatter, has rhythm
Voices combine, low or high
Echo down corridor.
Buzz to scream
Bee is silent, gushing water is loud
Vibrate, shake, tremble
Can be heard down hall, still
Sound is magic
Sound is vibrant
Sound is high peak
Sound is low trough
Silence all of a sudden
Silence, free of chatter
Vocals no more, voices once were
Silence, yet it rings, louder than chatter
Because sometimes silence is deafening
I dedicate this poem to the graduates at my school whose presence once filled the classrooms and corridors with vibrancy, chatter, light and sound. I wish them every success.
To them and to you,
Best of Wishes
