Riding Alongside the Sun - Poem

Earlier this year, I wrote a poem entitled "Riding Alongside the Sun" in which I describe a fantasy-like spiritual journey of a group of individuals who go on an adventure through lakes, forests and mountains in order to find their inner peace, purpose and serenity.

This journey consists of many great struggles but also showcases triumph and success.
This journey, in short, is a journey of LIFE.

Oh and as a little secret between you and me... WE, both as a nation and as individual PEOPLE are on this journey as well!

Riding Alongside the Sun - Poem

It is time to start a journey,
Across the rivers of life and paths of your soul.
Grab your bags, come join me!
Let us make a half, whole.

As we soar so high,
A thousand feet above the ground,
Serenity is achieved!
Inner peace has been found!

We've come so far,
Through forests, mountains and galaxies,
We've accomplished so much,
A statement for all eternity!

And now, we've reached a level beyond it all!
It's full of joy, happiness and fun.
We've risen so high, to dust, we are a speck,
We've been riding alongside the sun!
The blazing heat has warmed our soul,
Has given hope to our hearts.
We've have connected together, for one and all
We've connected for a whole, two parts
