Kind Wars - Poem

I recently found this expression in a book of inspirational quotes which really stood out to me. I think it reflects on the situations of Russia and Ukraine as well as offering a new, profound insight as to what the world needs in these trying times.

The expression is:

"This world needs a new kind of war, it is the war of being kind"

I was inspired to create a poem to help visualize that expression. I am very thankful that I can share it here.

Kind Wars - Poem
When the world will produce violence,
Against an uncommon enemy,
When there is confusion, as to where to turn,
Kindness is the remedy.

Instead of stabbing our friends, our brothers,
With hurtful words and actions,
Lets do a little something different,
A kinder kind of transaction.

Let us be kind.
Be mindful of our deeds.
Let us reach a hand out to those who ask..
Give the world,
Some of the goodness it needs.

Let us fight with kindness,
Against those who stand evil.
Let us share our souls together,
A new layer of harmony revealed.

Because you see,
I got something to say,
And I want you to listen with all your heart, soul and mind.
This world needs a new kind of war,
It is the war of being kind.
