Important Overview & Introduction For This Week
I never usually write a "Review" for the poems and posts I have uploaded throughout the week, only for specific and special occasions has that happened. Last week, I did one because of hitting 100 posts and also to help explain the background to the two special poems which I posted specifically for then. This week I have posted a "Review" simply to help explain in more detail, the background to this weeks' posts.
This week is all about my graduation. This was my final week in school and to celebrate that fact, I decided to share four posts, which I wrote specifically for this time. I will now take you through what these posts include, as well as some background to the event I wrote the post for.
First up, you will read a letter I wrote for the graduates of my school in 2019. This was part of a one-time graduation brochure that the school decided to produce, which featured the graduates' personal leavers speeches, their best memories at the school as well as some work from the younger students. After I was asked to be a part of the project, I decided upon composing a special letter for the graduates.
Next on the list, you will read my personal leavers speech, delivered in my school hall, at my graduation assembly, on July 12th. There is the humor, wit, and laughter involved, as well as sharing some great memories.
Coming in third, my special poem, I wrote to say thank you to the school staff. This was read out by my headteacher at the graduation assembly.
Finally, my poem to say thank you to my Menahel. I personally read this to him, at my Seudas Preidah, which was held at his house on July 13th, to celebrate all my Kodesh Studies achievements.
I hope now that when you read the posts, you will do so with a better understanding of what they represent for me. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.
