Thank You, Dear Teachers - Poem
At my graduation assembly, besides of having the honor to read my leaving speech, I also presented the staff of my school with a personalized gift from my family and had a special poem I had composed especially for the staff, read out by the headteacher. I now would like to present this poem here on the blog. I hope you enjoy reading it, just as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Best of Wishes,

Thank You, Dear Teachers - Poem
To all of my teachers
It all started in Year 7
A young man joined the school
My age was a double-digit 11
And now, after many years
I am about to leave
In this place, so many things I have accomplished
And there is still so much more I wish to achieve
Through the times of celebration,
And even times when I were struggling and was stressed
You were always there, motivating and encouraging
Cheering me on to do my best
Lessons were always so much fun
I learnt, I laughed and smiled
You saw my secrets talents inside me, and brought them out
Teaching me that the good I can do is always worthwhile!
You’ve done so much for me
And for that I wish to say something
It is only two words that you’ve probably heard a thousand times
But these words mean everything
Here is what I want to say
These words are just for you
No more suspense, my lifelong teachers
These two words are
THANK YOU
