Crystal Shores - Poem

Over the last two weeks, I've written two poems, "Continued Silence" and "Feathers in the Sky", using the same technique of creating a concept based on the titles of pieces of music found in my "Ambient Instrumental Music" playlist. This week for a third time, I wanted to try it again.

The concept of "Crystal Shores" first stuck out to me on Sunday and by the following day, the finished product was ready. In this poem written from the perspective of a young man sitting on the beach, I try to capture the magic of the waves hitting the shores and the soft crystals of foam from the waves reflecting gradients of fresh colour as the setting suns rays hit them. I am very happy to present this piece to you and I hope that I you enjoy it.

Best Wishes,

Yitzy Schweitzer

Crystal Shores - Poem
Summer evening,
Beach far from home,
Millions of sand grains,
Acres to roam.

Hearing waves,
Crashing into the shore,
Heard it once,
And one time more.

The shore is studded with crystals,
Sparkling in the sunset,
Reflecting back waves of colour,
That calms my heart and allows my soul to rest.

Creating a harmony,
Colors blend into togetherness,
The painting of a masterpiece,
Each colour and shade at its best.
