In Tribute To Reb Michoel Schnitzler A''H - Poem
This past Friday, as the last of our Pesach utensils and memories found their respective places around our houses and minds, the world of Jewish Music suffered an immense loss with the tragic and untimely passing of legendary Chassidic singer Reb Michoel Schnitzler A''H.
In an attempt to pay tribute, inspired by the words of his colleague, Yaakov Shwekey, who said "Michoel knew his gift and his mission" I decided to utilize my gift and talent of graphic work and designed a poster which can be found here. However I also wanted to add a poem to the tribute mix, that, which I am presenting on this post.
I hope that my simple words can inspire and comfort those who read it.
Dedicated in loving memory to

In Tribute To Reb Michoel Schnitzler A''H - Poem
He was a man so pure of heart,
His voice touched us all,
He spoke to your essence,
And he sang from his soul,
And now he's gone to Gan Eden,
But his song won't cease to play,
If you'll only listen close, you'll here it,
It's still here, not gone away.
His eyes were warm and loving,
His voice vibrant and strong,
Messages upon hundreds,
In every song,
His joy and care spoke volumes,
As he made all smile and dance,
Our lives,
Oh, how he did enhance.
Reb Michoel,
Our dearest friend,
Please daven for us,
In the presence of Hashem,
Reb Michoel,
Please sing us just one more song,
We are waiting to hear you,
So we can sing along.
Reb Michoel,
We will see you very soon,
In Yerushalayim,
With Mashiach Tzidkenu,
Reb Michoel,
Soon we will all sing again,
As a connected, united nation,
With you Reb Michoel, our friend.
