Coronation - Poem
As we get closer to the coronation of King Charles III, I wanted to create and share a poem for this momentous occasion. It is indeed special, because unlike getting a new president every four (or eight) years in America, or getting a new prime minister in the UK, whenever the general elections vote the serving PM out of office, the royal monarchy, usually does not change on a regular pattern. It was quite well known, of course, how long the Queen served on the throne - a dedicated seventy years - and as many people often noted after her passing, "She was the only monarch I knew to be on the British throne".
Well, since her passing, of course, a new monarch, King Charles III, has reigned and this weekend, the people of Britain will join with the world, as his coronation takes place. It is exciting and interesting, I am sure, to watch and take note, of preparations going on, however, the real event is only just on the horizon.
I humbly now invite you to read the poem below. I hope you will enjoy it.
My best wishes, as always,

Coronation - Poem
The crowds gather, in thousand upon more
Outside in the street,
They stand in unity, in respect and with awe,
As soon, the king they will greet.
The crowds gather, in thousand upon more
Outside in the street,
They stand in unity, in respect and with awe,
As soon, the king they will greet.
He will ride through the village,
In his royal clothing, the great robe and crown on him,
And only the best of all his guards,
He will choose, to protect and surround him.
Oh, this is how a king,
Is honored here, but listen as a tell you this fact,
Oh, Hashem, the King of kings,
Is honored greater than that.
His robes are our Mitzvos, our good deeds,
That we perform with elegance and a smile,
When we place our robes on him, He sends down to us,
Blessings for a thousand miles.
His crown is our prayers,
When we sanctify and elevate his name,
We show that we love Him, than He shows that He loves us,
All the same
When we sanctify and elevate his name,
We show that we love Him, than He shows that He loves us,
All the same
