Exciting News!! Brand New Series Starting!! Subscriber Poetry Inspiration Announcement
To my dear readers,
It comes with tremendous joy and excitement that I announce a new project I wish to launch on the blog. This is something I have had in mind to do for quite a while now and figured that as we are now in the first month of the Jewish New Year, it is the best time for this to begin.
As some of know, last year Tishrei time I began writing for the "Monthly Gedolim Stories" segment I created on here. After twelve months, a years time, twelve beautiful stories have found their way on here and as you read more in to this weeks blog email, you will see a new story, as we are now beginning the second cycle, or second year of these stories.
Why am I telling you this? Well, this year my new plan for the blog is that every month, you, my beloved readers and subscribers can send me any concepts or ideas you have, relating to any inspirational, motivational or interesting topic, of which some examples are:
Anyhow, my plan is that whatever concept or idea that you, my friends, send to me, if I can connect with those ideas, I will try my best to create a poem out of it, based on your prompt and see what happens.
Before I share the poem online, on the blog, I will send it to you, to see if I have captured your idea truthfully or if you would like me to make a adjustment.
Then I will share it here under the label of "Subscribers Poetry Inspiration", and make sure to credit the fact that the concept of the poem came from a subscriber. Please do kindly note, however, based on previous poems I have written from prompts given to me by friends and family, or even my teachers, I do say that the concept or idea came from them, but I don't reveal their names as a matter of privacy. That is to say, obviously, if I share the poem inspired by your idea, I will credit you, without revealing your name, but you will know who you are! (I hope) :)
Please also kindly take note of how to contact me.
This week, as you will see, written in the next post below, I already have a poem from a very dear subscriber, to whom I told the idea earlier this week in order to kick-start the series. I hope you will enjoy the concept and poem, as you will read them both.
I will now finish off by once again saying, that I am beyond excited to begin this journey with you. I hope you will be willing to share with me your ideas and that you will enjoy what I can create from your inspiration. I always enjoy hearing your feedback, so to be able to collaborate with you on this new idea means a lot to me.
Hope you enjoy the first entry to "Subscriber Poetry Inspiration" for the 2023-24 year gap.
Best Wishes,
Yitzy Schweitzer
