The End of the Dream - Poem
Last week, I posted a poem "Night Visions" which spoke about a person having various negative or frightening dreams, or thoughts, whilst sleeping or trying to fall asleep. This week, I am writing a poem called "The End of the Dream", which discusses the beauty and wonderment upon realizing that exile is now but a dream and redemption is what we have woken up to. I felt a special divine sign of sorts of Hashem, telling me that yes, now it seems exile is sad and dark, but only a short time from now, the dream of redemption will be a reality so sweet.
I hope you enjoy the poem and may we all soon realize the new reality of G-ds glory lighting up the world, with the entire population, bowing in awe as we as one proclaim G-d as our one king. Forever.
Have a great week,

The End of the Dream - Poem
I cannot count all the tears,
All the times we thought that end was so near,
I cannot change the pain of the past,
I cannot rebuild the shattered glass.
But what I can do, is understand,
That redemption is only closer to our hand,
If we join as one to reach for freedom,
It won’t take much for us to receive it.
Oh, can you feel it? It's the time we thought would never arrive,
Do you see it? The dawn, the renewed sunrise,
Yes, dear friends, we’ve broken through,
This team of brothers, me and you,
And now, it very much is what it seems,
It is the end of redemption being a dream,
Because now, you’re coming with me,
As our dreams become a sweet reality.
How many times did we wake up,
Hoping now G-d will take us,
Only to have our hopes dashed once and again,
Until we felt alone, afraid to trust even a friend.
But, oh, the painting was hidden for a reason, we know,
Now we are ready to see it and is to be shown,
The bigger picture will explain it,
How G-d guided and arranged it.
Oh, can you feel it? It's the time we thought would never arrive,
Do you see it? The dawn, the renewed sunrise,
Yes, dear friends, we’ve broken through,
This team of brothers, me and you,
And now, it very much is what it seems,
It is the end of redemption being a dream,
Because now, you’re coming with me,
As our dreams become a sweet reality.
It took only so much pain,
To much hardship, so tough to speak about and explain,
But now our heartache will take the place of the past,
We have answered the question we ourselves have asked,
How do we return to the city bearing our name,
Is to embrace all differences and treat everyone humane,
For together, we create a unstoppable energy,
To destroy and demoralize, even our strongest and most internal enemy
