G-d Within the World - Poem

 As many of my readers know, one of my techniques for writing poems, is to either use song titles as conceptual builds and create something based on the song title, or just let my mind wander and see what ideas come from that. This poem was created based on the second concept.

I put on a random instrumental music track and began thinking about topics to write about. After some time, I had in mind the idea of peaceful, serene world. I began by writing one line and almost right away, more elements came together to create a unique poem, one with a simple, powerful message that I hope you will enjoy.

The message of the poem is that G-d listens to every prayer. He takes care of every human being, loving and guiding them towards piece and serenity, never giving up on them, because he knows the potential that exists within their souls.

G-d Within the World - Poem

Walking a path of serenity,

My soul is at peace, The world is safe,

I raise my hands in thanks to You,

I tell of your glory,

I speak only your praise,

For You have healed, you have soothed,

The soul of the world, the injuries it sustained,

You took care of Your world,

Loved every being, found calm in the pain,

Only You could know, how to love,

Only You know know, how to understand,

When the hurt and broken call Your name,

You reach out, with such grace and hold their hand,

The world was crying, searching for You,

Looking everywhere, hoping You would show,

You did, as always, You revealed You're love,

Guided the world, on its journey home,

Now, with serenity, the world stands,

Safe, protected and secure,

That is why I raise my hands,

That is why I sing, it's You I sing for.
