Coronation For the King - Poem
Another year is almost through.A year of prayer, hope, love, loss, success, failure, miracles and blessings. We've been through so much, as individuals, as members of our own communities and as a collective, united nation. The Jewish Nation.
Throughout all our ups and downs, highs and lows, through every second of every day, He, G-d, the Supreme King of all Kings, has been guiding us, standing by our side, encouraging us, loving us, listening to us.
Never leaving our side. Not even once.
He was always there. He is here with you right now, wherever and whenever you are reading this. He is with me as I write this, guiding my hands across my keyboard. He will continue to be with me, he will continue to be with you, all of us... He will be here, if everything stopped suddenly for even a minute... He will still be here.
***
It is no secret that on Rosh Hashana, we "re-inaugurate" so to speak, Hashem as our King. Our One and Only King. We crown Him, we embrace Him, we praise Him and we tell the world that HE is KING.
He has always been and so He will always be.
***
As we gear up for the coronation of Our King, allow me please to share with you, a new poem I wrote, about it. I try to capture the warmth, the regality, the royalty, the reverence, the awe, the respect, all of the emotions and feelings one would feel, when watching or standing next to his king. When seeing him walk out of the palace doors, dressed in His royal attire, when witnessing the soldiers stand to attention for him, when seeing him wearing his crown, with a sine upon his face as the music plays all around.
I tried to capture as much as I can.
I hope you enjoy the reading.
Have a wonderful, blessed, sweet, new year, all of you, my dear friends.
All the best,
Yitzy Schweitzer

Coronation for the King - Poem
As dawn whispers it's calling over the sky,
The palace garden is decorated, unique and awesome,
The coronation of a king, the Supreme, the Al-mighty,
On this day, our belief, our pride, love, and respect for him, we affirm
The King's crown is resting elegantly,
Upon a beautiful pillar, at the gardens edge,
Golden, with jewels and diamonds of the best quality,
Fit for a king to wear it on his head.
The palace doors open,
The trumpets and soldiers come forth,
Commanding for the king, respect and attention,
From the southwest, east, and north.
Suddenly, he emerges, dressed in a royal robe,
His face warm, loving, wise, and angelic,
The crown is carefully brought to Him,
A symbol of history, not just an ancient relic.
The crown is placed on His head,
As the crowd sings for the monarchy and the reign,
Of our loving father, the Melech Malchei HaMelachim,
We sing for the world to bow in awe of us, your children, and your holy name.
