Miracles in Our Time - Poem
Earlier this week, I was watching a video explaining the magnitude of all the mind-blowing miracles we've experienced since October 7th. When put into perspective and true understanding, one realizes that all the incredible things that has happened since that frighting day, have been more than incredible. They've been supernatural. Impossible. Incomprehensible. A clear message from the One Above, Hashem, the Al-mighty, that He is with us, He loves us and that He and He alone is watching over us.
I was inspired to write a poem about how each day, silent almost undetectable miracles are performed for us and because they appear as regular "run-of-the-mill" incidents and occurrences, they don't stick out in our minds, when in reality, perhaps they should.
I got down to writing the main concept of the poem almost right after watching that video. Later on I added and developed the piece a little more until feeling happy with the final product

Miracles in Our Time - Poem
Every sunrise is a blessing,
Every raindrop has a reason,
Every prayer has a purpose,
Every answer calls out for you to hear Him
We, Am Yisrael, are a miracle,
Living in miraculous and awesome times,
We, Am Yisrael, are blessed,
To witness His promise, His words come alive.
Some say each day is but coincidence,
Some say, each blessing has but no reason,
But we know whatever happens,
It is planned and precise, a reason for us to thank Him
We know each and every blue sky,
Means the sun is out and shining,
We say each prayer with plea and praise,
We ask for more, so that we and the world can recognize Him
We are living in the times,
Of but real open miracles,
Just like it happened before,
Just as the story has been told,
G-d is on our side,
We must understand,
We are His children,
We are numerous as stars and sand.
Every word of Torah we learn each day,
Bring on more of blessing and merit,
Each word of prayer we whisper,
G-d accepts it and cherishes it.
We must tap in our powers,
Granted to us by Him alone,
We must thank Him for all the goodness,
Ask Him to give us more reason to sing as one
Each day is a sparkling miracle,
Each step is taken towards our shared awesome eternity,
We must understand our true powers,
Comes from cleaving to the Al-mighty,
He Who blesses us with all we have,
He Who wants us to spread His glorious light,
These miracles come - from Him - for us to share,
To tell the world of His Supremacy and might.
Each moment is miracle,
Feel his love every second of the day,
Sense His call, a soft yet mighty voice,
Calling for you to walk on the path of truth, the only way.
Know, you are His child,
A prince, son of the True King,
He waits for your call to Him, so He may answer your request,
Send to you with wonder and splendor, whatever good you ask of Him
