Road To My Destiny - Poem

Earlier this week, I was on my phone, almost mindlessly checking some stuff, when out of nowhere, a line came in to my mind. I had no intention of writing anything that day, had no ideas to work off and no concepts to build anything around, yet this one line changed it.

Normally, my inspiration comes from things like lyrics, expressions or sayings and sometimes from song titles. I have also gotten inspiration from nature, such as writing about the skies, seas, forests, and flowers. But every poem I write, has a underlining idea, baseline that I work around. This one came from absolutely nothing other than, first and foremost, Hashem, who sent the idea to my mind and from just having my mind wander off the beaten path, if you know what I mean.

Either way, you are probably asking yourself "what is this line you though of?" Well, here it is:
"Walking in the silence with the sunlight on my back"

That is the line I received in burst of heavenly inspiration. When I thought of this line, I rushed to my computer, opened up a document and just began to write. I felt that this line was very special and was the perfect little nugget of golden inspiration I needed to write something. So, I got writing and after some twenty odd minutes, the final piece was complete.

I am thankful that I am able to share it with you now.

Road To My Destiny - Poem

Walking in the silence with the sunlight on my back,
Letting life take me on the journey,
Following the footprints of those who travelled the path first,
Knowing that G-d will be with me.

He has led me to this path, and he will continue to lead me,
Like he led my ancestors in times gone by,
He is protecting watching and guiding,
He listens to my prayers from high within the sky.

This path is the road to my destiny,
A destination chosen by the heavenly angels,
On this path is the call to eternity,
Forever is at my fingertips, I know it’s something special.
I am a child of the King of kings,
A prince among my fellow royal friends
I must proclaim it loud, that G-d is One,
Together we must sanctify the Name of Hashem

Illuminating the darkened world through my actions of truth,
Following the road around each and every bend,
Guided by the morals, the principles of the past,
I am being guided by the Presence of Hashem.

Together with my brothers, I stand with them proud,
Like soldiers at attention in front of the general,
My fellow fighters stand beside me as one,
As we fight for the time of redemption eternal.

This path is the road to my destiny,
A destination chosen by the heavenly angels,
On this path is the call to eternity,
Forever is at my fingertips, I know it’s something special.
I am a child of the King of kings,
A prince among my fellow royal friends
I must proclaim it loud, that G-d is One,
Together we must sanctify the Name of Hashem

A destination chosen by the heavenly angels,
On this path is the call to our longed eternity,
Forever is at our fingertips, we believe it’s something special.
We are all children of the King of kings,
Princes in the palace of splendor and honored men,
We must proclaim it loud, that G-d is One,
