LIFE: An Experience From Some Select Angles - Subscriber Poetry Inspiration 2025-2026 Poem 5

We are back with this months' edition of "Subscriber Poetry Inspiration". For this month, I was given a suggestion by a very close friend and subscriber, to write a poem about life being a journey, about the different paths we take and about the different roads we travel, each on own respective trail.

Now granted, I've written a decent number of poems with this topic as the theme and driving force, (in fact, last months' Subscriber Poem was this exact theme) but, I think each time I've done a new take on it, I've trued to keep the rhythm fresh, the lines and stanzas exciting and the ideas and angels always a little bit unique and creative.

Each poem in this topic, can be approached in many ways, through many viewpoints and I think this one is no exception.

I tried approaching this one looking at life from many perspectives and sides. Beginning with life being the all-amazing journey, complete with roads, hills and valleys, to then taking a look at how life is full of blessings, from new and exciting opportunities, to flashes of creative inspiration and vibrant, warm sparks of personal greatness.

Moving on, I than went and took a look at nature, mentioning the breeze, the flowers and the rain, allowing you to capture those mental screenshots of nature as we journey through this poem. That then, brought me right over to discussing the joys of self-discovery, self-reflection and finding the real you, finding and understanding who you are and the great gifts and abilities Hashem blessed you with.

My final angle was looking at life as a teacher, an educator, teaching me the lessons I need to learn to be the best child of Hashem, the best son of the Supreme King that I could be. After that I went through everything I mentioned in the previous stanzas, bringing everything full circle and concluding this journey of a poem :).

LIFE: An Experience From Some Select Angles -
Subscriber Poetry Inspiration 2025-2026 Poem 5 

Life is a journey of ups and downs, highs and lows,
Hills and valleys so vibrant, peaceful quiet roads,
Life moves fast, sometimes it slows itself down,
No matter the movement or the speed, Hashem in all places, He can be found.

Life is a blessing, each moment unique and obscure,
Hashem gave you this moment, one that never existed before,
Opportunities, inspiration, sparks of greatness are coming your way,
Why push them to wayside, leave them to melt and drift to some other place?

LIFE is at this moment, at this very second of time,
Embrace the walk, the run, the drive and the climb,
Feel each breeze, smell the flowers, dance in storm, in the rain,
Every day is new experience, tomorrow won’t be the same.

Understand who you are, life allows you to find your truth,
Get up, thrust off your chains, wipe away the stains, and embrace the YOU,
Every day of your life, He has led you and guided you on this path,
Calling you to recognise, the gifts He gave you, the gifts you have.

From childhood innocence, to the adult maturity,
Life is a teacher, I am always but a humble student,
Life teaches me so much, an educator, guiding me with lessons of the Supreme,
Hashem’s teachings are what is showing me the way to achieve and live my dreams.

Life is many things, I’ve listed here but just a few,
Life is full of vibrant designs G-d created only for you,
Go out, begin your journey, find your blessings, live in each moment you can,
Find the real you, allow life to teach you, find your brush stroke on the painting of His master plan
