Son of Dignity - Poem

I had this idea just a few weeks back to write about titled "Sons of Dignity" which will speak about who we are Sons of The King, Hashem and how even when we stumble, fall and make mistakes in our serving of Him, we must take inspiration, motivation and comfort in the fact that, we are still His children, He loves and cares for us so much and that even during dark times when we slip and stumble, we maintain our dignity, our royalty and our ability to do what is right in His eyes.

We must learn from our wrongdoings and understand that we can do better, we must do better and with His guidance and love for us, slowly but surely, one step at a time, we will become better, greater people, showing the world why He loves us so.

I took some time to write a short and simple little piece which I share with you now.

Son of Dignity - Poem

I know life can be difficult,
I know the struggles can get so strong,
But even when I fall, even when I stumble,
I know I am His son, I will be so my whole life long.

I know the world isn't perfect,
Tempted to give in at every dark turn,
The world is lost in desires, while we can barely hold on.
But within our souls, a warm fire softly burns.

For we are royalty, sons and daughters of kings,
Born as a child into a nation of regal deeds,
We may make mistakes, for we are works in progress,
But at the end of it, our souls remind us, we are still sons of dignity.

We learn, we mature to understand who we are,
A light of unprecedented proportions, limitless,
Our deeds are treasured gems, golden sparks of beauty,
Creating an awareness of our Father in heaven, of He Who is infinite.

The world is searching for meaning and morality,
At a time when leaders lead their people to despair ,
They are looking to us, as children of His kingdom,
To guide them towards a knowledge of His oneness, to make them aware.
